Default SDPC 440ci LS7

after catching the shaft of lingenfelter i've decided to look at vendors here and i came across SDPC.. well my dad has done some work with them in the past and they have what i want a 440ci ls7 shortblock.. is their a representative from that vendor here that i could talk to or someone that has done a bit of business with them? I won't make a final decision until talking to my dad about them.

Give them a call.
Ask for John or Jesse. I have them on speed dial.

Probably got a price for one engine that is enough to buy two engines at any other shop/builder like HKE, Vengeance, Katech, Cartech, etc......

You know...the "shaft".

I just purchased a 416 shortblock from SDPC. I could not be happier with the service, the shipping, or the product!

Their prices are crazy.

$20,000 for an LS1 based 427ci that only makes 530 FWHP (467 RWHP M6). And thats bringing in YOUR own engine that they just rework. Nothing is more funny than that.
It says 427ci LS1...but it also says they remove and inspect your engine. Also says something about a prepped LS7 aluminum block..but then it says they CNC your LS1 heads. WTF!!!!
http://www.lingenfelter.com/engine-p...7-cid-ls1-70-l

How about $3,000 to let them do a heavy duty tranny rebuild on your 4L60E?

Sure if you want a 650 FWHP N/A engine, they'll build it, but it'll cost you $30,000.

And their quality is no better than any other top builders out there.

Go with the 440ci LS7, you'll make 600+ RWHP and have the same quality.

Yea, just another ridiculous thing shops do, 3-4 months to build an engine, what the hell. A buddy of mine just got his 430ci LSX iron block finished, it took 3 weeks from start to finish.

Notice how they up't it to 3-4 months AFTER they got your money
