OK, so one of the shops I would recommend would also be a sponsor here... Call or PM Steve from Kaltech Tuning They are in Long Island NY, the other shops around that do tuning and Might be closer mainly deal in ford or import tuning, I know Steve can tune an LT1...

the problem with the LT1s is that not too many people have to software. there are a few good places in jersey but i don't think they have the LT1 software. when i took mine to get tuned i had the software so it wasn't a problem. ttp and cartek are out in jersey but i don't think they have the software.

cool now we all know.
you should get the software in the future and learn how to tune little by little. i got the stuff and although im no pro learning has been fun. the software is pretty inexpensive if you already have a laptop.

get tunercats costs like 70 bux for the $EE definition file and tuning program. then you need the aldl cable which is like $100. then you need a datalogger like tts datamaster which is another $100. so like 270 all together. a lot cheaper than the 96-02 model years. you need the cable any way to switch between you n/a and n2o tune so really all you need to spend is 170.

if your looking to travel to PA, bryan herter from pcmforless is really good. (www.pcmforless.com) i swapped my stock LT1 for a 383 stroker LT1 longblock and he tuned it very well. gl man
