CARB Legal Sticker
Long story short. I "passed" smog in my car. My only issue is passing visual when it comes to the Registration. Im doing transfer of ownership. (NV to CA) And they are gonna go over the car to approve that its OK for CA standards.
I'm just worried about the visual. I have: ChromexTri-y's with hi-flow cats. Now anyone with a brain is gonna know that's not factory. Im headed to AAA to get the car regestered where they are not as well "trained" as PD or fokes at the DMV. Im sure I can just get away with having the CARB legal sticker posted (edelbrock, hooker, slp, ect.... sends with their headers) somewhere and pass them off as a set of those. They wont be intrested in trying to find the CARB # plate off the headers themselves.
So does anyone have a DETAILED picture of the CARB sticker that comes with a set of those 50 state legal headers? Or does anyone have a sticker lying around I can buy off them?
Much appreciated,
Nick
**Oh and this is all for scientific purposes, in no way am i trying to pass a car off as Smog Legal**

They dont even look at smog equipment at the DMV, all they do is walk out and check VIN numbers and make sure the car isnt a rolling disaster. I did the same thing a couple years back, transferring a car from NV to CA. The woman at the DMW walked out, looked at the VIN in the glove box and on the dash. Then she walked around the car and went back in. Never popped the hood.

Keep in mind that highway patrol in CA are all required to be ASE certified master techs (so good luck tryin to b/s them ). As for the DMV they may not care, just don't get pulled over.
