Default porting stock exshaust manifold

Has any one ported their stock manifolds? Headers would be the solution but cost and stealth are the issue here. It is a CTS-V LS6 manifold. I also plan on, deleting the cats, running an x-pipe and dumps. What are the gains/ losses? What tools have people used to acomplish this task? Is it worth the time?

Im sure there is a gain but not much.. give it a try I doubt it can hurt.. but theres nothing like gaining 20 ft pounds of torque with some american racing headers on a stock car!
