Wondering what kind of power can be made from a cam only LQ4 motor. Since the comp. is down in the 9.5-1 area it has to take a toll on the overall power output. Right now i have a stock short block with stock 317 heads with patroit extreme spring, vic jr intake with a Aarons elbow and 90mm TB, 60lb injectors, EWP and prob try out the TSP 1-7/8 headers and a big cam (MS4 area). Any sugestions?

I did an LQ4 with Stock L92 heads, dynatech headers, Comp 224/230 camshaft, and it made 438hp (SAE) on a Superlow 902 engine dyno.

Simple but effective.
