Default Heads and cam swap?

How would I go about learning to do a heads and cam swap? I have built motors before, traditional pontiac, but what are the specifics of an LS1? I did a search but since I am not here too often, I am not too familiar with exactly what to look for. I think it will be easy, I just need a few pointers or where to go to get them. Thanks.

However, I did not like the instructions that Ls1howto.com suggested for adjusting the valve train.

I have been away from tech for a while now and I guess my "training wheels" are showing right about now. Thanks for all the advice. I found what I was looking for.
