Question ???KIRKEY economy w/o ROLLBAR.....

im basically running an all bolt-on, weight reduction car so im not making crazy HP

MY QUESTION IS.....can i run kirkey economy seats w/o a rollbar/cage and not have any probs with the seat bending considering my power level???

At my local track it wouldn't pass tech, not sure about yours. And yes its a very bad idea. Not trying to be a dick, its just not at all safe.

Would never do it again. And car was going 10.02 @ 135.

Young and stupid was my excuse, haha

thanx for the replies guys. what aftermarket seat (lightweight of course) would u recommend w/o having to use a rollbar?

the summit plastic ones work good and their a bit lighter too...

The bad thing is, whether it actually holds up or not, most good tech inspectors will show you the door for not having it secured to a roll bar.
