Default SES light on

my ses light is on also my low coolant light is on. ive replaced the coolant and did a flush of the system and its still staying on. Thermostat maybe? anyone? cars temp is low and never usually at the middle unless it gets really hot outside. Anyone?

those coolant sensors are junk, and most likely it just failed. Disconnect the sensor if you want the light to go off. (passenger side of radiator, mid way down)

(the SES light is unrelated to the coolant level sensor)

so its not the thermostat? should i tape off the unplugged cable?

If your not seeing hot temps on the guage, I would assume it is the sensor. Most go bad before being 10 years old.

unplugged it and light went off but not the ses

the ses is unrelated, and you will need to get it checked/cleared.
