blow down tube?

i want to mount the bottle right above the gas tank inside the car if i had the blow down tube go right dow would it be safe if the valve opened and emptied nitrous right above the gas tank? sorry if this is dumb

Yes. I see no problem with that, all it would do is make things cold. N2O is not flammible.

Just dont drill into anything under there!

Just make sure you won't be spraying the blowdown tube directly on any rubber hose, plastic connection (ie hose barb), or and electrical connector.
