Default Intake manifold. paint it? yes or no?

i have a dark green 1994 Z28. before i put my manifold on on should i paint it black, or just clean it and leave it stock. pics welcome!

That's totally up to you.

I had mine powdercoated green - probably the same color of your car.

That's why I try to avoid red at all cost. I do like the powdercoated intake though. Might have to ask around locally to see how much it would cost, but I'd also want to do my valvecovers as well which would put it out of my budget range.

I voted black. I used some high-temp engine spray paint that I got from Auto Zone.

damn, i'm definitely painting mine black now. red 94 t/a btw. i'd say paint it for the op too.

hey stealth, how can you keep it that clean? i'm scared shitless to try and clean my engine bay. optispark scares me lol

Honestly I've never cleaned it but the car has low miles so thats why. Just cover up that opti good and you should be good to go. I cleaned the engine bay in my old '95 a couple times without any issues.

I use Mother's Aluminum Polish that I bought at Wal-Mart for a couple bucks.

and how well does hot engine paint hold up? do you use the standard method of spraying to get that on there?
