Default Cutout Question

Im a little confused here. Do most of you guys who run cutouts, run dual cutouts or a single cutout?

Single, right under the rear seat (assuming you have stock exhaust for a catback). I run dual cutouts on the Z28 right after the header collectors so I can run open headers for racing. For street use, one right under the rear seat.

I run mine under the passenger back seat foot-well..You can run two of them on your Y-Pipe but pending on your mods, I think its a bit overkill!! Not enough for you to realize where you put it unless your makin some serious power!

Do you think it'll make much of a difference to go dual cut-outs right after each collector..........compared to just one 4" cut-out after the Flowmaster merge, before it goes over the axle to the muffler?

Its a big build, 454ci, its gonna make well over 600 RWHP.

One cut-out if fine with me, unless it'll make a big difference with duals.

???

If ground clearance is not an issue, I would certainly have 2 on mine.

But will it actually make a difference that is noticable? My hard runs where the cut-out(s) would be open are gonna either be on a 150 shot or a 300 shot. And of course alot of playing on motor.

So if its not gonna do much, no need for duals.
