Default Anybody running a Schwanke engine?

Wondering how they held up under spraying them and quality and reliability, customer service and so on? In the market on a budget and was thinking of them since they have good prices.

I bought some 317 heads from them. They are a great bunch of guys and are very helpful. They can offer different parts/ brands for each block or rotating assembly. Give them a call they will be more than willing to help you out.

I had them dyno tune my car. They are very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Thats where my next shortblock will be coming from. Give 'em a call they know their stuff, they do alot with sprint cars and have had good luck a street motor shouldn't be a problem.

If you don't like the thread get the F--- out of it. Only useless post would be #10

whoa whoa whoa... i wasn't attacking you or your thread. Don't jump to be so pissy... if anything I was wondering why everyone else couldn't give you a straight answer you were asking for...

but go ahead, roll your eyes, and get your panties in a bunch

My Bad. I took it the wrong way. And yeah not really getting any responses to help make up my mind. I may go ahead and give them a try though.

Probably. I had the car out for the first time in like 8 months. Never knew there was that bad *** a vett running around. My car is loud as F#$%. you would definitly be able to tell it apart from others. There is an older woman with a stock SS that looks just like mine in the area.

if you do try them please post some results. i've been watching for some feedback because their prices seem wayyyy low. if there was some good feedback i'd be running one of their motors right now. i just don't want to be the guy to learn the hard way

I have a schwanke 415 iron block in my Firehawk. It has AFR 225 heads and a TREX cam. I haven't sprayed it yet but it has trapped 124 mph in the 1/4 pushing the 3730# Hawk. I can't answer your question for the spray but it is a monster on just motor and hasn't skipped a beat. I have about 3000K miles on it and the oil looks new.
