Removed AIR - Weird sound
Hello all, I removed my AIR pump off my 99 camaro, and I placed the proper block off plates on the exhaust manifolds.
However, when I'm cruising and getting on the gas a TINY bit (3k RPM), a weird whining noise seems to come from the front of the car.
It definitely didn't do this before my AIR removal, and I have no idea what I did. The block off plates are quite secure on the exhaust manifolds, is there any chance that an exhaust leak resulted from me being an inexperienced dumbass?
Also, when completely removing the AIR pump assembly in the bottom of the car, is there anything I should have looked out for? I basically unplugged the connectors and taped them up.
Thanks!

Uh, I think so.. (hopefully).
I definitely pulled the top hoses that connected to the exhaust manifolds, and I definitely got the hose connected to the pump itself, but there were some smaller hoses around the bottom that I thought I had pulled all the way, but I guess I could check.
Is there anyway to tell if its a vacuum leak?

Fixed the problem about a week ago.
The blockoff plates actually created an exhaust leak...
These are the blockoff plates from Speed Inc. mind you.
Anyhow, after a little bit of high temperature sealant used for exhaust systems, it now makes 0 noise
