Default Help plus advice please

Hey I'm new to the forums and new to owning camaros... im not new to camaros or ls1s at all since my dad has owned countless ones we have worked on in the past... but in your own opinions what do you think would be more practical in getting power efficiency and reliability...
1)Rebuilding the motor with forged parts and keep the bottom end with 98000+ miles
2)Start building up the motor till it blows then transfer parts to a newer motor
3)Save up for a motor and go for a ls2 or a 383

My dads never had more than 30000 miles on any of his ls1s so im not so sure how long these last

there are plenty of guys runnin round with 100k+ miles spinnin 6500 rpms with no problems. i think it really depends on the setup and how u drive.

first things first, whats your goals? what will the car be used for? people can give better advice once those questions are answered
