Default Where To Buy My 402 From?

Can anyone give me suggestions on where to buy a 402 from?

I would like to see somewhere in the 500RWHP/RWTQ.

So, if you have any experience in this area, please chime in.

Thanks,

Bill

Thanks for the information. The car in my signature was originally tuned by you. In addition, some of the parts were installed there too.

Most 402's can do 500+ hp easy, mine does. Talk to as many people who have bought from sponsors as you can. Don't just buy after talking to one or two. Make sure you know the quality you are getting. I have heard some great things and bad things about popular sponsors on this board. Happy hunting my friend. As you can see,im from michigan too and my motor was built in the state.

I'm guessing you'll need one hell of a cam to hit 500 with a 402 in an A4. I have a 416 in an A4 GTO and barely scratched 502whp. I have a 236/238 cam which I consider "big."

That cam by forum standards barely scratches "big" in a 346.

HK Enterprises is also a great place to get a motor built

That cam in your motor is small.......My 408 built 3 yrs ago has a 244/250 630/630 and that was big back then. In todays field my cam is small...Probably why your numbers are low...

Just had my LSX 427 built from him. Still have to pick it up and install it though. I couldn't speak higher for him, couldn't be happier.

Definately check with Matt here at TSP, we have over 40 short-blocks in stock & he can help provide you with dyno both on the engine dyno & chassis dyno of tons of different combos. I recently set one up with PRC 237cc heads that made well over 650 flywheel horsepower on 93 pump gas. 500rwhp is no problem at all!!

LME gets my vote. I would also consider LG and Virginia Speed. Heard only great things about both.
