Which gears for my car and the 1/4 mile??? Hey guys I am currently completing the build of my car. I currently have a fab 9 rear with 4.30 gears and running on 28 inch slicks and drag radials, M6 with suspension. The new motor is a Raymac 408 built for about 700 hp engine dyno and have a direct port NX system which I will shoot another 200 to 300hp for track passes. My concern has been I may run out of gear with the current 4.30 gears. I am scheduled to put my new spool in with 4.10's. Rev limiter will be set at 7200 rpm.
Can I make the full 1/4 mile with 4.30's without running out of gear or should I drop down to 4.10's???
