Default Oil drain plug location?

Where the heck is the oil drain plug? I'm not seeing anything that resembles an oil pan at all like I'm used to...

I've googled like mad, but only 2 guides even have pics, and they look nothing like the bottom of my car :p

I see a bolt on each side of a flat thing on the bottom of the engine that might be it, but what's with the 2 bolts?

If you are used to old school engines then you are probably looking for a big steel black oil pan, but our cars have a nice aluminum one which is probably throwing you off. But basically it is the bolt in from of the oil filter that doesn't have any structural purpose.

^ He is lying there is no drain plug.

You have to drill a 1/2" hole right at the bottom of the oil pan(the big metal thing at the bottom of the motor).

Really, man. . . Open a ******* service manual and read.

It's the one on the drivers side of the rectangular thing that is under the car where the oil pan should be. Righty tighty, lefty loosy.

And don't feel bad for the crap the other posters have given. If it leaks too much, you just pour oil in and never have to change it because it's always fresh.

Hahaha, this is too much. I remember the first time I ever changed the oil. I made a mess. Oh and I tried taking out the oil filter with my hand. Good times...

Look for the bolt, you can't miss it. Driver's side. The oil filter is right up there as well. Just look up. When changing the filter, just remember to put some oil in the filter and rub some oil on the rubber seal and hand tighten it.

When you do find it, use a 1" impact on full torque to tighten it up.
