Default Lunati 382 guys....please look

what size cams and power output did you get using this stroker displacement? Thanks. I use LS6 heads with .025 gaskets....same as milling .029 or so for clearance if you wish to comment.

I'd like to see some combinations, cam specs and dynos from 382 strokers too. Not as many posts on the strokers unlike H&C.

I hit mid 470's rwhp with the Grand-Am Cam: 239/251 .570/.570 106, LS6 CNC heads, 3.73's, 2001 C5 6 speed. This setup would run 11.30's @ 124 with 1.8 60' with DA of +2000

Just converted to solid roller: 244/251 .689/.697 110 (haven't dynoed yet; still working on a few tuning issues)

I have a Lunati 382 Stroker in a 99 FRC Corvette M6.
With stage 2 heads and MTI X1 cam on a 112. I made 455 RWHP 440 Tq. I added a Z06 maf and airbridge now it dynoes 460 RWHP. And is currently broke due to a timing chain failure!

Hey now... that is the size of my cam. I do drive it on the street and I don't know if I would go much bigger. Mine is over .600 lift though on a 112LSA. My old 987 springs didn't like the XE-R lobes very much and was really floating the valves. The top end was flat. My new heads are LS6's with 2.055/1.60 valves with Comp 977 springs. These heads flow at .500 what some LS1 heads flow at .600 lift. I finally got it all buttoned up and will fire her up tomorrow. If all goes well I will have some track times on Saturday

H82BBAD - Let me know how yours turns out so we can compare some notes.

I used the rengade lobes I posted about this weekend, They will not be as fast as the xe-r lobes but should be very easy on the valve train parts. I went with it on a 112+2. I am also using 2.055 intake and 1.57 exhaust valves. I will let you know how it turns out but with my converter swap I doubt it will be very fast on the motor. It should rock on the hose though!
