STS dropping boost

STS dropping boost the last time i got my dyno'd and tuned with an 8 psi spring in the wastegate it started dropping boost at 6200 rpm to 7.3 psi, but when it was a 5200 it was fine and holding a solid 8... would this be caused by stock valve springs not being able to snap cloesed under the amount of preasure being forced in? or would this happen when you max out a turbo? i have the std turbo that came with the kit, GT67....

Relocate to the manifold, doubt you will have an issue then. I am on the same turbo, and have zero issues at all at the same boost level. I would highly recommend upgrading your valve springs though.

well, im going to be getting some 6.0 heads pretty soon and they will be getting stiffer springs...those heads should drop my compression to were i can up the boost a bit right?
