Gears & Axles - Axle cost for a C6 corvette?

I broke the axle on my brothers c6 corvette at the track and was wondering how much it would cost to fix it at the dealership? Is this a common problem on c6 vettes?

When you DO actually get a quote, post it please. That way it will be here when this happens to someone else, like me. I would be doing it myself though.

Axle CV shaft or differential output shaft? Aftermarket CV's are the way to go and if you need the differential output shafts call Lingenfelter for some 300M upgrades.
