I am rebuilding my LS1 383 strocker engine I just got my MAHLE pistons .
There is no instruction sheet In the box , I don’t know how much to set the piston ring end gap as per the manufacturer recommendation , can someone provide me with that please .
Here are the Piston Specs :
LS1105905I06 Mahle Motorsport Forged 383 cid LS1 Dished Piston Set: 3.905" Bore, 4.00" Stroke, 6.125" Rod Length, .927 Wrist Pins, 1.105 CH, -6cc Dish;

That depends greatly on what your doing with the engine. For a standard gap theory I run .0045" x bore diameter for the top ring and .0055" x bore diameter for the 2nd ring. And the oil ring should generally be .015".
If you plan on spraying any nitrous through it, you want to open them up a little more to .0055"-.006" x bore diameter for the top and .006"-.0065" for the 2nd..keep the oil ring the same .015"
Hope this will help out
