Update: MTI X1+ built transmission
Hello,
Car was just ran on a Dynojet-
Before numbers
387hp/358tq SAE
395hp/366tq STD
After (Tq converter wouldn't lock up for first 10+ runs. Hope the lower result was from heat soak, timing or KR)
375hp/363tq SAE
385hp/373tq STD
386hp/375tq uncorrected
What's up with these numbers??? I lost hp!
The only change in between dyno runs will be the RPM transmission, 3200 converter, and the Borla XR-1 instead of the SLP Loudmouth II (too much rasp)
Updated mod list
'98 B4C 123k
MTI X1 230/227 112
Stock '98 heads
Pacesetter LT/TSP ORY
Borla XR-1 off Y-pipe
LS6 intake/PTB
MTI lid/Speed Inc filter
18" wheels @ recommended tire pressure
RPM LVL 5 4L65e
Precision Industries Vigilante 3200 (previous dyno on 3600)
Melling oil pump
7.4 PR's
stock injectors
93 octane

Hmm thats weird.. My torque was also in the 360s. I cant remember exactly where. The X-1 was my old setup. I had LTs, lid, and LS6 intake. My best track time was a 12.1 @ 117 w/ a 1.8 60'. That was feathering the clutch out. I never dumped it because I was on the good ole trusty 10 bolt. If I had slicks and some more suspension I could have ran a mid 11 I think. Who cares about the numbers man. I suprised alot of cam only cars that made more rwhp than me. I wish I would have done the 12 bolt and other suspension parts while I had that cam along with a nice set of heads.

10 consecutive runs is a lot.
Who cars anyways, those are great numbers.
take it to the track, numbers are just numbers.
I only put down 313 rwhp through a bolt on A4 and beat my buddies 372 wheel GTO and my friends 352 rwhp T/A (all have bolt ons) from digs and low rolls all day.
