Default flow numbers off my old 853 heads

well i got these flow tested the other day and was wondering what you guys think of these numbers?

flow intake exhaust
.200 128 101
.300 285 135
.400 226 165
.450 244 174
.500 256 181
.550 262 187
.600 262 192
.650 265 195
.700 265 196
.750 250 196

i pulled these off and had replaced them with PRC 2.5 5.3L heads. did i make a good move on the switch or should i have stuck with these heads?

If the new heads flow more than the 853's do up to the rated lift of the cam(or cam you plan on going to) and you have the exhaust system set up for the additional flow, then you did the right thing - if not, then you wasted your money............

Were those stock heads or did they have work done to them? I thought the stock 853's flowed in the 23-240 range. If you paid to have your old heads, did you pay to have your new heads flowed? Only way to know, they could be worse you never know.

So the LS6's would be your third set of ported heads? For what you'll have paid in the long run, you could have got yourself a good aftermarket casting....
