Default valvesprings breaking!

I keep having valvesprings break. My second one broke lastnight, lucky they are doublesprings so no real damage done. What springs would you guys recomend because obviously what I have is not cutting it. I have had them for about 2 years by the way so that could have something to do with it as well. Any way here are my mods tell me what you think.

408(8.5 cr)
allpro heads T&D shaft rockers.
ls7 lifters
futral F9 cam( 232/236 598/598)
Procharger F1C 18#s boost
I currently have REV 1.340 valvesprings.

Thanks

If you want a real good spring, that should last you a good while, get some PSI ML1225's. I have heard nothing but good things about them. I just swapped out Patriot Duals and put the PSI's in. They aren't cheap though..

We've never had a spring break with the Patriot Gold springs we use. Bob

Yeah that is what I am looking at, patriot gold extremes, and I need a good valvespring tool. I can't seem to find one that will work for the shaft mount rocker system, anybody have any suggestions?

Oh and by the way thanks bob for the 3.85 pulley, this thing pulls like a freight train, I think I made my friend poo a little when I hit the gas....scared me a little too...lol
