Default 408/rollbar project finally done!

8 point custom chromemoly
custom kirkey covers to mimic the stock camaro seat pattern.
painted the seats black as well. got a nice sheen to it all.
408 iron block
srp pistons
eagle crank/rods
tea tfs 235 heads
247 255 624 624 108ICL pat g cam
11.7
super victor
1050cfm 4150
1 3/4 stainless works headers
still running a 3" y pipe and a 4" catback. hope its not to restrictive on me.
hope to have some track times this weekend.

very nice!!! i didnt even notice it was a 3rd gen til the last few pics. nice work for sure!

i had kevin at kirkey do them. i dont think they do this type of stuff on a normal basis. i almost was going to beg, but he agreed before i had to.
local shops didnt want to mess with them, because they didnt have a pattern for them. if i would have had them done local, i could have prolly got a lil more of a factory look to them, but the cost would not have been worth it.
for talking over the phone and sending a guy a few pics of a stock seat, it worked out well.
the material is a new air knit. it breathes better than the std tweed, so im hoping it wont be so hot in the summer.
with the factory leather seats, i had about had it with them in hot weather.
no a/c, they werent friendly.

thats actually the premium one offered with the dual map lights.

it is very 80's. i thought of replacing it and thrashed to get the car done.
in the 3rd gens, you gotta have it to help hold the headliner up.
when i get a chance to get to the boneyard, im going to see what i can find thats a lil more "round."
