Red face no hole on bbk intake for valve cover tube?

hey guys i got my bbk intake on and i dont know if this matters but the hose that comes from the passenger side valve cover that goes to the top of the throttle body has a hole on my stock ls1 intake but the bbk dont have a hole on the intake where the tb goes for that hose.
is this some thing i need to worry about or not?

Are you talking about the PCV tube on the intake?
The blue line in this pic.

Im sure its the same on the stock intakes. Theres just a small opening that doesnt go anywhere. The point of that tube is to provide a fresh air source for the crankcase. Basically filtered air from in front of the TB.

your either talking about the port of the side of the intake that is PCV. Or your talking about the big hole that was in your ls1 intake, that hole of for the EGR, in which case youll have to take your EGR system off bc there is no hole for that on the BBK.

That tube is part of your pcv system and it goes to your passenger side valve cover, not the intake

I think he's talking about the nipple on the side of the stock intake that the PCV line plugs into.

how about you take a pic of the ls1 next to the bbk one. that would clear up all the confusion.

what that is and does
its a fresh air vent tube, it pulls fresh air that going to the tb into your motor,
if you look at the tb you will see where(i the front of it)the air goes for that
DO NOT PUT THIS LINE INTO YOU INTAKE
put this back on the tb, if your tb does not have a provision for it(some dont but most do) then just put a small breather on it

There are two ports - one is fresh air from the TB to the forward port on the passenger side valve cover, the other is vaccum - on the intake manifold behind the throttlebody and connects to the rear two ports on the valve covers, connected by the y hose. So the intake should have one and the throttle body should have one.
