2 kicker 10's and bass blockers on all the door speakers, id say its a great system, plays all types very well and the bass is not overwhelming.

I have 13 W7 and a 1000/1 Jl Audio. Stock amp is pushing all my Type S speaker. It sound clean but LOUD very LOUD when i want too. If you need space i would suggest some 6inch JL subs on the passenger panel and a 5 channel amp. 2 channels for your fronts, 2 for the rear and 1 for the passenger subs. I had two JL 6W0 on there and they hit lows pretty good. I recommend this if you need the trunk space.

Nice, what ohm load is your W7 powered at? Ive got 4 Type S' being powered by the stock monsoon amp also. The highs work out really good this way and im sure the bass is just excessive... lol

I have a JVC AVX-44 head unit with Focal Utopia component speakers in the doors and sail panels. Those are powered by an alpine 4 ch amp rated at 100 X 4 RMS. The two IDMAX 12's in my custom subthump box are powered by an Arc Audio 2500 amp. All in all sounds great even at 90mph with the tops off.

Now sporting a Kenwood 9960 double DIN DVD/Nav head unit and 2 Nakamichi 12" subs in a Q-logic box.

my god.

finally a man with a true system.

Will if you're going to do ANYTHING to your system I suggest you do something like this. You do put some of the best **** in your car so dont stop now. This is a complete system. Blows everything else outa the water in this thread. Only thing i'd add if it already isnt is some sound deadening.

Powered by a very small Alpine V12 amp... Maybe 200-300 watts

Plenty of sub for me.

haha, you're right Cesar. The 2 badass 12's is somewhat excessive for me though (even though theyre probably fun as hell)

I went with an AE AV12H In a 1.5 cu ft sealed box with an Mmats D1600.2 powering it with 1200watts rms @ 2ohm. I currently have 4 Alpine Type S 6.5's up front(sails using the feeds from the hatch speakers) ran on the stock amp which sounds surprisingly good for what they are and an Alpine headunit I'm going to add an amp for highs, new speakers and a headunit soon.

I finally finished the majority of the sound deadening also, damn that ****'s a pain!!

Nice thread guys
