Moving to Florida..Ft. Lauderdale area I got my dream job and I am moving to Florida in April. I am in need of a place that accepts pets-Have a 6yr old Chocolate Lab-very well behaved. Looking for a 2 bedroom place for about 6 months till I get out of the academy and can afford something more. Furnished would be nice, but doesn't have to be. Anyone know of anything by them, private owners leaving for the summer-snow birds etc. that want to rent? Thanks guys! Can be in the Fort Lauderdale area, prefer nothing by Miami.

Hey man, sounds good..lol. Any areas not good? I am not too keen on Pompano Beach area-seems like a bad area. Is there any special websites that have info?

yeah stay away from margate, specifically 441. I lived on southgate/441 in 2003/2004 and moved out of a complex 6 months before the security guard went psycho and shot up his g/fs place and then barracaded himself in his place and then set it on fire before shooting himself. the whole building burned down and it was the second such fire in 8 months (first one happened while i was there)
FWIW the place was called cross creek apartments, but most of the places around 441 are pretty bad.
