Default Pics of 11.03 stock internal car

Heres the car I just finished building that went 11.03 @ 120. It's a Stock internal bolt on car. I built the car, Hank Hill set me up with a killer suspension tune and Virginia Speed handled engine tuning duties. I know of a few more things I can do to knock about 2 tenths off. Car weighs 3085 race ready. Ide like to run 10.80's @ 3000 lbs.

Anyway, never realy posted any build pics so here it is how it sits today.

Badass!

How were the corners of the hood by the mirrors done? That looks very clean.

Even more impressive the car still has carpet and most of the interior AND on drag radials.

What steering wheel is that? I've been looking for a clean wheel like that with a button to replace my factory?

Also is that a Wolfe cage? or custom?

Whoa. Very clean car...kind of what I'm going for. I'll be stock cube LS2, with a nice set up heads, good custom cam, and a ported fast92.

yes the're racecraft rails. Very nice pieces.

on the hood, yes you cut the lip off. I cut the lip off all the hoods on the cars I build. All the lip is good for is cracking which then makes the crack run into the visible part of the hood. Cutting it off gets rid of that "stress riser" so to speak.

Atwelve- Ill get you a pic and a description on how i made it.

john- yes, speed density tuned

913- its a grant wheel, I forgot the model. Yes wolfe cage, great fit. Had I known I was going this far with the car, I would of built a 10 point from scratch.

coach- thanks, I like your cars as well! Its just a footbrake car

Promod - that would be greatly appreciated.

Definately one of the cleanest fast SI cars Ive seen. You tend to not see many with motor plates, etc. looks like the car was build with intentions of going even faster

thanks for that info robbie, I did not know that, and was thinking the other way. Of the hood being too flexy without them. I was about to cut the rails for the lip to fit over
