Need some gear advice.. I am currently running a 28" MT drag with a 4.86 spooled 9" behind a 4l60E with a 3600 stall vig.
I am going to a TH350 with 5000 to 5500 stall. What rear gear?
Car weight = 3200 with driver
Shift 6500
1/8 mile track..
Currently the car is trapping 98mph, but I am having transmission slipage and banging the rev limiter on the 1-2 and 2-3 shift.
What would be a good gear to go with. Track car, little to no street.

Cool, thanks. I was afraid I may have been hurting myself with too much gear, but I guess not...lol
According to the calculators, the 4.86 I have now seems to work out to be about perfect. I guess she is a keeper
