quick question- will a 98 4l60e bolt up behind a 99 trans am???

Default quick question- will a 98 4l60e bolt up behind a 99 trans am???

and function properly? i know they changed a bunch of little stuff between those years and i just want to make sure before i make the investment

If they are both LSX based it will bolt up and the electronics are idential. If its not from and F body you may have to change the linkage shaft and tail housing. As long as its 2wd anyway.
