Default battery not charging

relocated alternator using BMR's bracket, now battery ain't charging.

also removed heater box at same time. anything behind dash, if unplugged, that would keep alternator from charging battery? car starts and runs fine as long as battery is charged

12 volts to the little plug... I'll check that.

it is painted. but, I get 12 volts from battery positive to the frame of the alternator. I also put a jumper cable from battery negative to the frame of the alternator, and still only 12 volts at the battery as opposed to 14.

looks like that molex plug circuit to the alternator routes through the instrument panel first. I didn't have instrument panel plugged in. Plugged it in, then, wha la... molex plug has a voltage and the battery is charging. Just for the record.
