Default gm castings vs aftermarket castings with big numbers

im wondering if anyone has had issues lifting heads/pushing water with stock casting gm cylinder heads like patriots or just regular 6.0 gm heads under boost around 700-800rwhp???? Ive been told some do under high boost if there driven hard you have to replace them every year compared to aftermarket afrs, trickflows etc. wonder if anyone with big numbers with gm castings can give me some input? any would be greatly appreciated because im going to be running a good amount of boost with a 6.0 block.

thanks,
Tyler

It seems that alot of the lifting heads/pushing water has to do with timing and boost. 18-20psi seems to be about the breaking point. I plan to run 18 or so and I decided to step up to ETP heads for the thicker deck. I'm not sure how much the extra thickness truely helps but I'm sure it doesn't hurt any.

yea each setup imparticular is prob different and yea im told the thicker deck surface helps prevent that but just wondering more or less if that 1000 dollars more is worth it or if id be fine with like a set of patriots or sumthin...If i know ill be pushin water then ill def go with the thicker deck heads to prevent it because i dont wanna be changing head gaskets all the time in an fbody...

758hp here more boost and less timing lower peak psi in cylinder which less chance of pushing water vs less boost and more timing for same hp

19-21 lbs on the street and at the track, it puts some air into the cooling system but no big deal yet.
