Metal Shavings.....
just changed my oil that had MAYBE 2500 miles on it, however it had all the dyno pulls and tuning and it was beat on pretty good...I found this and was wondering how serious this could be.
all the stuff wiped onto the paper towel is metal shavings, there was also a 4th chunk about the same size as the largest one that I dropped and couldn't find.
is this bearing material?
how bad is this? car seems to run fine.

pulled the valve covers, nothing in there out of the ordinary which I didn't really think there was anyway...just one thing eliminated. only other things it could be would be a valve lock, or something in the bottom end..ie a bearing

Man, that can be so many things.
I suggest getting a long magnet type stick that extends like an antenna and is bendable. Stick it in the oil pan drain hole and sweep the entire bottom of the pan a few times to get all potential pieces out of there.
Are those pieces magnetic?

which means bigger, stronger, faster.

I forgot which part that is though. From memory, I think the spring retainers in the heads or maybe the spring seats.
At least those parts can be ruled out.

If they are magnetic its obviously a bunch of different things...but there's something in the heads that breaks up into small pieces like that when they fail, that are NOT magnetic.

Yeah, just drive her till she starts yellin at you. Then turn up the music! Ok, so kidding about the music part, but seriously though I would not worry my head off about it. Just keep an eye/ear out for anything out of the ordinary, and just drive it like you normally do.
edit: also, do you happen to have the oil filter you took off it? might want to cut it open and see if there is anything suspect in there as well...
