Default Timing advance readings in Datamaster vs. actual timing advance.

What is the deal with the timing advance readings, recorded in Datamaster, showing higher than what is really taking place in the LT1 OBD1 ignition system.

My Datamaster says I am hitting 39 degrees of advance at 6.3K RPM Map 93KPA when the particular cells in the timing tables show 36 degrees advance.

Default

The pcm base code adds some timing based on rpm above and beyond the programming.
