Default ABS module question

What 3 or 4 channels means in relation to the ABS module? How can I verify mine? I have a 98 A4 Camaro with traction control, do other years fits on my car or must be from a 98 car?

Default

ABS = 3 channel
Traction Control = 4 channel

If you have traction control, you also have abs. I don't like either.

I just want to turn off some lights at the cluster, related to ABS malfunction.
