why is there water from when i just pulled my ls6 intake?

Default why is there water from when i just pulled my ls6 intake?
i have a 2002 ls1 from a fire bird.i just pulled the intake and there was a little water on the vally cover is this normal?

Assuming you pulled the coolant plugs & coolant cross pipe, it's probably a little water from that. If not, some water could have gotten down under the intake if you washed the engine recently.
