Question Stripped Spark Plug Hole??!?!

So, i finished my cam smwap the other day and i reliezed i stripped one of my spark plug holes. the plug is still in the hole, won't screw in or out , but feels loose?? I can't drill tap the hole unless i remove the headers and if i'm going to do that i might as well upgrade heads. What are the risks i take driving my car with the exhaust leak TEMPORARLY (other than shoot the plug out) ?

I don't there are any risk of driving it like that, it will lose compression in that one cylinder though.

And as far as I know the only way to fix it is to pull the head and install a hila coil.

Yeah, you can't damage the threads more than they already are. You'll probably get a misfire code & SES light, but at least you'll know why.

Or... the plug could shoot out and puncture/dent the hood or fender. That would be bad.
