Default Headlight Motor Question

Will a headlight motor from a 1996 firebird v6 work in a 2000 Formula or did they change the design? I have the dreaded "grinding" problem in my 2000 but my 1996 motors are both fine. Would it work to swap the motors?

No, they are different motors. 93-97 Firebirds had single lamps on each side, 98-02 had two lamps on each side (separate highbeam and lowbeam) so the housings and the motors are different.

OK. I will just deal with the ones on the 2000 then with new gears or new motors. Thanks!
