Default Experiance with falken tires?

Falken ziex 502

275/40/17, I got a sweet deal on 2 practically new ones for 70 bucks. So I don't care how good they hook but just out of curiosity? Anyone use them?

I have been using them for the last yr and half. I liked them better than the nitto 555's I was running before them. They hook pretty well. And for that price, its hard to beat

Like mentioned above, the nitto 555s are not drag radials. I purchased a new set of falkens today and they were the same price as the nittos.

My friend had Falken Ziex 502 or the 512s on his Auto 05 GTO 265s in back and it just roasted em from dig. he only had 370 RWHP if that helps.

But for 70 bucks test em out.

Oh my mistake on the drag radials, and well I guess ill try them. Better then having 2 bald dryrotted tires that I have to put air in every 2days I guess.

I used Falkens on my old LT1 car, a great tire for the price. I managed a 1.7 60 with a auto and 2k stall.

I just realized today that I don't think these tires are Z rated lol but for 70bucks they should last a couple months.

Tread design suggests they are, but they don't say ZR on the sidewall, I think its S rated because the only letters I saw was M+S

It's kind of a funky situation, for as far as I know, Falken discontinued the 502s for a while, then brought them back, but just through the "Big O" tire stores in the west. In the past, IIRC, they were available in "H" and either "V" or "Z" ratings.

Having said all that, I had a set of them on my wife's Lincoln LS. Not a drag car, by ANY strech of the imagination, however a GREAT handling street tire for a great handling sport sedan.

Yea beats me, im not sure what rating or anything these are but I intend to burn them off within a few months anyways so its no big deal. Just glad I found some nice tires for cheap.

M+S means they are rated for handling mud and snow. Basically, all seasons.
