Default tranny coolers?

has anyone ever had a problem with a 3200 stall car not shifting when its hot but shifting when its cold? it sounds like it hits limiter from 2nd to 3rd and it doesn't have a tranny cooler, could that be a need for a tranny cooler?
thanks

I have the same ****** problem, except mine rattles the car like hell!!..i would invest in one as they are really inexpensive, and see what happens, i noticed that it dosent really happen when you first drive the car, only when it warms up or u drive it for extended periods of time..
