Possibly blow by? Do a leak down test. And check the PCV.

replace the $5 pcv valve before you assume you have a ring problem.

Just pull the oil fill cap while the engine is running and look for "puffs" of smoke comming out as you lightly rev the engine.

It could just be something random, don't jump to conclusion. Also sometimes the dipstick will leak a little where it goes into the block, just use a little silicon and it will seal right up.

Has it ever been out? If it has and it never had silicone put around it and taped in far enought it will leek. There is also a bolt that holds it in, check to be sure that is there.

I just had my motor out and it was leaking. It was in all the way too, just pull it out, clean it, and use "the right stuff", itll never leak again.

Leaking from top or bottom? I forgot to bolt it on b4 and it was leaking out the bottom. I just cut a slot in the bolt hole for the dip stick. Made getting it back on 100x easier.
