These days it seems like I cant drive anywhere with out seeing at least 5. I saw 6 while waiting at a stoplight. But Firebirds/Trans Ams are rarely seen. Does anyone else notice this?

That might be true, but a majority of the Camaros that you see are V6s and/or beat to hell.

i can say that in the last 3 days ive seen 2 clean late 4th gen SSs on the freeway, but several V6s with 19"+ wheels. whats this world coming to?

I never see firebirds or TAs, but thats probably because i usually ignore them.

Actually Ive seen a ton of SS's and Z28's. As they get older they get more affordable. Too bad usually its a younger guy that doesnt know crap about what he's driving or they have them on 22's. I expect to start seeing more C5's as well.

?? Cmon, I know youre a car guy. Most guys your age dont have much car knowledge. You and your bro are cool and know your stuff. Youre performance first guys. Hey, I got my C5 as prices came down and I was only 23. Difference is I "drive" my car unlike most old fart vetter sunday drivers.

Im 26 going on 50! My point was there are a lot of young guys out there that drive a car just cause its "cool". I can apreciate the younger guys who know their stuff. Hey I was 18 working on my TPI right out of high school while my classmates were all into ricers, especially in SGV, aka Hong Kong.

Yeah I had my grand am, started with my second gen camaro, grand am became fun, then i was brought back to reality and realized I should get back into a camaro and have the car I have loved and always wanted.

i see a ton of v6 camaros everywhere, but i see the same amount of ws6's as i do ss's. as far as being clean, most ws6's i see are fairly stock looking and well taken care of where as the camaro's are always either modded or tore up

BTW, there's nothing wrong with getting a car once its more affordable, if anything its a great investment. 315hp,320lbs trq for under 15k? You cant beat that. Now you can find LS1 cars under 10k. Its still true though that thats when you see younger drivers, as cars are cheaper, its a fact. When I came out of high school I had to work my *** off and I still had to get a 3rd gen, which I love anyway, I wish I couldve had a LS1 T/A or C5 out of high school, though Im sure I wouldve crashed it.

aw man don't get me started now, if its one thing that chaps my *** is old people driving fast cars. don't get me wrong i seen some old timers still get down and all, but i hate it when your going 55 in the fast lane and to top it off some old dude is driving it.
