Default gears

Can anyone tell me what series carrier I have. My car has 2.73 gears on it. I want to get some richmond 4.10's, and im hoping they make em. my rear is off of a 95 auto(the reason for the 2.73's).

if it has 2.73 gears then it is a 2 series carrier.

have you checked to see if it is really 2:73s?? if it is it is a 2 series..you will need to get at least a 3 series and a thick gear...but it would be best to get a 4 series carrier with your 4:10s..

I know they are 2.73's. i counted the teeth when I had put em in. The only reason i put those in is I had a white BMW do a hit and run on me. It hit my rim ont the driver side, and it bent the axel shaft and broke 2 teeth off of my 4.10's. I didnt have too much money to fix it, so I bought that diff off of a friend for 100 bucks. I had changed the gear lube before I put it in, and counted the teeth when I had the cover

My car broke a set of richmonds when my buddy had it. Replaced with Strange gears and they're holding great.

I hear people say the motive gears are good too, but dont have first hand experience.
