I did the same swap, you will never regret it. Sure I miss bangin gears, but launching off the brake at 5600 rpms, cutting 1.3 60' times is a lot more fun. The car sounds awesome btw.

Did you leave the 4.10 gears in? I had left my 4.11s in and was running out of gear on the bottle around 128mph. Changing the gears are the next thing on my to do list. Just thought I'd give you a heads up

Well I run a 28" tire too. When I was a 6 speed I was crossing the traps around 7100, but with the th400 I get a little bit of converter slip. You have to account for that too, and there's nowhere to go when 3rd gear is done. Regardless of nitrous or n/a, our trap speeds are similar so the same thing might happen to you. Hopefully it works out for you though.

Car is going to fly! You may loose a little bit of MPH but the ET will pick up big time. I run 26 inch ET Drags and have run the times in the sig. I think with the big stall and the 28 inch tires you will be fine. When I ran the 10.25 at 129.5 I did not hit the rev limiter which is set at 7,200 RPM's!

Good luck with it.
