I have a 2000 z28 with a LS1. I want to know what are the best cylinder heads for these cars.

you want best budget heads, or money is no object heads.

Low budget = Stock 243 heads
No budget = TEA, AFR, etc. (depending on specific use)

how much do you want to spend,prices range from 1000 to almost 3k for a set of nice heads.

you can go allot higher than $3k.

True,i am just not sure about how much the best heads are.So that raises a ??.What is the most expensive cylinder head for the ls1.I am curious.I know there is a 4 valve head,but whats the most expensive 2 valve head.

probably a dart worked over by a reputable builder such as bret bauer. Maybe not the MOST EXPENSIVE but pricey depending on your budget, but worth the money.

speaking of bret, anyone got his number? site is down and I need to chat with that guy.

my trickflows done by TEA where outstanding!!! my new ones will be there new 6 bolt heads. A++ for TEA

All Pro should be considered as well, IIRC they have a small bore coming out. talk to Richard at WCCH for info about it but you have a few options these days. AFR, TFS, PRC (new castings), ET, Dart (T4P), Edelbrock. That I can think of off the top of my head
