dynomax ultra flow #17536
Does anyone have a dynomax ultra flow muffler #17536? Its a crossflow muffler with 3 inch dual outlets. I can't find any cat-back kits from dynomax with that part number and i can't find any sound clips or videos with that muffler. Just wondering if it sounds good because i want to replace the flomaster exhaust system #17274 which also has 3inch outlets from the case and is based on a modified version of a 30 series muffler and not the 80 series that most people hate. I have pacesetter headers and ory on my 1994 z28 and it sounds ok but i am looking for something different.

I have that same muffler, its 3" in with dual 3" exit, I used it to replace the flowmaster that was too loud for me after I bought their $$$ dual 3" polished tips setup... Its definately quieter although I don't have a sound clip for you and my car isn't running right now as I"m doing a trans swap... That was about the only muffler I found with that same setup that could just replace the flowmaster.

2 days ago i called flowmaster to ask if that muffler is based on the 80 series muffler because i started to see the weld marks on the case. he was 100% sure that #17274 was identical to all 80 series muffles and hung up the phone on me. turns out i was right and it is based on the 30 series muffler
and has a tube going to right side of the case. i took off my tail pipes and looked inside and it does not look like a original 80 series. to me it seems quieter then the regular 80 series.
