Re: Crank Bolt I used the stock bolt when I did my cam swap... pulley came off w/out a hitch w/the stock length bolt... pulley pressed back on just fine w/the stock length bolt... (then I put my new bolt in after the initial torquing)

Re: Crank Bolt Take the bolt out and place a socket against the end of the crank and put your puller against the socket. That way the pulley can come all the way off and the crank snout doesn't recieve any damage. Worked great for me!

Re: Crank Bolt I on the other hand did not have as easy as a time taking the pulley off or putting it back on. I had to get a longer bolt. 
If you have to get a new bolt just remember that it is a 16mm with a 2.0 thread pitch. You should get one that is about 5" and buy about 2-3 washers to go along with it.

Re: Crank Bolt generally the bolts are only threaded about 2-3 inches on the bolt. you'll prolly need the washers to put on it to get the pully back on. without them, the bolt wont push the pulley far enough. that would be my guess. had to do the same thing.
