Default More new best's on Stock Shortblock!

Went to Evadale Raceway last week and ran a best of 10.57@127.05 1.49 60'. Some better air was blowin in the week so had to give it a try yesterday. New best runs are,

1.46 (best 60')
6.71@101.6
10.57@127.08

1.52
6.76@101.8
10.61@128.06 (best mph)

1.47
6.68@102.13
10.53@127.23 (best all around pass)

Still got 60' foot issues. I will scale the car and put 4.30's in over the summer. the race weight Im guessing is around 3200 with me in it. These motors are the ****! Everyone at the strip has a hard time believing its a stock shorty at 100,000 miles.

Good times man. What combo are you running? I'm from that area, but I've never ran @ that track. My step-dad ran his s-10 there a few years ago. I'm coming back to the states in June and maybe then I'll get to see some fast cars out there. The last time I was there nobody was running 10's.

Again, good times!

Hey Jason, you best watch out for a Firehawk around town I hear he's ordered a bunch of parts. Just messing with you, figured I'd find you on here this is H. K. I do have some goodies coming in tomorrow though along the lines of heads/cam etc. and I got a ss4000 last week. I keep meaning to stop by but typical busy with the kid and work. Alright well give me a holler.

What parts you buying? That is definitly a great converter choice. Im looking at a 2002 hardtop Z28 that is untouched(white of course). If I get it, it wont be that way long. I want to keep this one street friendly though.

I got PRC Stg 2.5 5.3 heads, 228R cam, ls7 lifters, and pushrods, and then I'm gonna have new bearings and rings put in. I'm going this weekend to pickup a Century Stage 4 4l60 with 10k on it. I won't be in your league, but a lot closer than I would've been.

Welcome back. There is always a decent show at Evadale. Im not too keen on this heat right know, but when i get these Aerospace brakes and VFN Sunoco hood on I might show for a few night passes.

I run 28x10.5s on 15x10s and cross around 6400.
