Default Jack Stand Lift Points

So I'm looking to install my UMI Tubular SFC's in a couple weeks. And the instructions list quite a procedure for lifting the vehicle between loading and unloading the suspension. Toward the end, they say to put jack stands under the rear axle. I've always been under the impression that you shouldn't put jack stands directly under the axle tubes. What locations CAN you put jacks under for the rear suspension (frame rails and differential aside)?

I've searched this a few times...nothing really comes up.
Pics would be great....

just jack the front up at the K member, and the rear by the pumpkin. Put the jackstands under the rear end axle housings on each side, then on the front put them on the K member or you can on the frame rails but seems like it would be in the way with you doing subframe connectors.

I can't tell you how many times I have put jackstands on my axle tubes. There is nothing wrong with putting them there at all.

Thanks for the replies. I've read the owners manual and I've seen that install university page before. But I want to know what areas on the actual suspension components can take a jack stand. If you're saying anywhere on the axle tubes is ok, then that's fine with me...
